Hi there, I’m Michelle! I grew up in San Francisco and currently reside in Los Angeles, where I’m pursuing a master’s degree in Public Relations and Advertising at the University of Southern California. My passion for PR began when I was a junior in college—after a friend suggested I’d be a great fit for the field. From the moment I took my first PR class, it felt like the missing puzzle piece I had been searching for. I went on to earn my bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from San Jose State University, and continuing my studies at USC has been an incredibly fulfilling journey that has sharpened my writing, presentation, and strategic communication skills.

Because of my love for storytelling and connection, I’ve explored different sectors of PR, including tech, lifestyle, fashion, and entertainment. During my first year of grad school, I discovered a new interest in global publicity, which led me to study abroad in Mexico City last spring. While there, I visited major companies like ESPN, Disney, and Edelman, gaining firsthand insight into global communication strategies and audience engagement across different cultures. This experience solidified my passion for international PR, and I’ve been fortunate to continue exploring it in my current role as a Global Publicity Intern at Sony Pictures Entertainment, where I contribute to exciting film campaigns.

Outside of PR, I love reading, running, shopping, and doing hot yoga in the early mornings! Since moving to LA, I’ve enjoyed exploring new bookstores around Culver City, running along the beaches between Santa Monica and Malibu, shopping at The Americana, and practicing yoga near Manhattan Beach.
